When to Travel Oman

Best time to travel Oman is in Winter from October to February. As the place is situated on the Arabian Peninsula, it has extremely hot summers and pleasant winters. During this time, Oman has very favorable weather for its visitors as the temperature is around 25°C in the day and 20°C at night with the clear sunny sky.

Avoid Travelling during summer months (April to September) as the entire country is scorchingly hot with temperatures rising into the 40 degrees.

The place is recorded by UNESCO as a World Heritage site as it has many intriguing spots to visit such the old Middle Eastern market, the palace has souk and its maze of spice stalls, antique shops and Omani teahouses, old Portuguese guns, the ceramics and the old towns arranged on the aqueduct. The place is well known for Falj channel framework and the water supply in the desert spring area. The fort was built in the 17th century under the bearing of Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'ribi, this incredible fort is famous for its impressive architecture. The fort has some interesting defence mechanisms, including honey traps and unusually shaped windows for shooting approaching enemies.



3. The Wahiba Sands - For Adventure loving guyz, Wahiba Sands is the ideal place to visit. The land is totally covered with the golden colour sands that give you altogether a different experience of Desert safari.The Wahiba Sands are longitudinal dunes 200 Km in length and 100 Km wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea.

4. Bahla Fort - It is also one of the famous world heritage site situated at the foot of the Djebel Akhdar highlands in Oman. The fort is re-boosted with beautiful walls and sandstones and has the tower that rises up 165 feet high.

5. Jebel Shams - Jebel Shams is Oman’s highest peak, it is a mountainous region. Jebel Shams it the famous spot for trekking and adventure lovers as the roadways for driving a four-wheeler is a bit tricky. It is just 2 hours from the Muscat and is also known as the ‘Grand Canyon of Oman’. The place is famous for Colorful rugs made using goat hair and natural dyes are a speciality of the region.
