There is no specific amount that you will have to show for a Hungarian permit. As per the requirements, you are expected to submit proof that you will be able to support yourself during your stay in the country. This includes expenses such as food, accommodation, etc. Depending on the duration of your planned stay, you must prove that you have enough for the entire duration.
While you fill in the application form, there is a column asking for the entry type. In this, you can select the option of a multiple-entry. However, the final decision on this taken by the consular officer after reviewing your application. If you are issued with a multiple-entry permit, you can enter and exit the Schengen region unlimited times as per the regulations.
The short-term, or Hungary Schengen visa is non-extendable similar to other Schengen short term permits in normal conditions. However, in certain cases of unforeseeable emergency circumstances, you may be granted with an extension. In all other scenarios, you must leave the country before your permit expires.
