Tourist Visa Fee

How the Visit Visa Process Works

Unlike the tourist visa where you apply directly, the visit visa follows a sponsor-initiated process:

Visit Visa Extension

Under the December 2025 reform, visit visas can be extended once for the same duration (up to 3 months). The extension must be applied for before the current visa expires. Extensions are processed through the MOI portal by the sponsor. The maximum total stay on a visit visa is 6 months (initial 3 months + one extension of 3 months).

All fees below include the base fee + mandatory health insurance (KWD 5) + monthly stay fee (KWD 10/month). INR conversion at Rs. 222 per KWD.

Fees are non-refundable. Payment is made online by debit or credit card through the official portal or via demand draft at the embassy. Longer stays cost more — each additional month adds KWD 10.

December 2025 Fee Reform
