Turkey work visa for Indian citizens an entry permit that lets Indian nationals enter Turkey for taking part in employment. As per the Turkey work visa photo requirements, the photos to be submitted must meet the following conditions -
It takes around 4 working days for the embassy to issue your reference number. However, it can depend on the volume of applications at the embassy/consulate, your previous travel history, the authenticity of your documents, and so on. Once you get the reference number, your Turkish employer should apply to the MLSS within 10 days. The confirmation from the MLSS may take up to 30 days. As a result, ensure that you apply well in advance.
The fees for the work permit includes the Entry Visa Fee, Work Permit Certificate Fee and the Residence Fee as the work permit is like a residence permit. The fee may also vary upon the foreign exchange rates as well. As a result, you must check the exact amount before starting your application.
Once you have made the application, it will be processed accordingly. Even if you have applied at a VAC, the work visa application is forwarded to the embassy/consulate for the processing. The VAC has no influence regarding the processing. Once you have received confirmation from the MLSS in Turkey, you can collect the passport directly from the mission/VAC or you can have the VAC deliver it to you for an additional charge. You can extend the Turkish work permit easily. Although your work permit will be issued for a long duration, you can apply for an extension by visiting the MLSS in Ankara. If you are unable to get it extended, you must leave the country on expiry. Your first extension will allow you to stay for 2 years.
Once you have expired your permit, there is no provision for a stay-back period. As a result, you are expected to leave the country upon expiry. Alternately, you may apply for the extension before your permit expires. However, if you do not receive the extension in time for your expiry date, you must leave immediately. Staying back in the country after expiry is considered as an offence and can attract hefty fines and even lead to deportation.
As per the requirements, there is no medical test for the work permit. It is, however, suggested that you get a medical check-up done before travelling to a foreign nation, for your own safety. Apart from this, you must obtain a PCC to show your character conduct
Since the work permit is issued for people who are planning to take a job and earn in Turkey, there is no need for funds. As a result, you do not have to submit proof of funds. However, to ensure that you have a hassle-free journey, it is suggested that you possess enough funds to support your stay for a few weeks at least.
Since it takes nearly 30 working days for the MLSS to process the work permit, you must apply for the permit at least a month in advance. However, this can also depend on a number of other factors. As a result, it is advised that you apply well in advance.
