Technically, you can extend your business visa. However, the chances of it being approved are not high unless you have a strong reason for it. To apply, you will have to submit an application at the PSB (Public Security Bureau) in China. Although, you will have to apply at least 7 days before your current tourist permit expires. 

After Expiring My China Business Visa How Long Can I Stay?
