Romania Business Visa - Definitive Guide

The business visa for Romania is an endorsement that lets individuals travel to the country and engage in business-related activities. Thanks to the visa-free arrangements with a lot of countries, a large number of nationals do not need a permit to enter the country. These include nationalities such as the Schengen, Cyprus, Bulgaria, etc. Since India is not among them, a Romania business visa for Indian citizens is mandatorily required.

3. Fill in the online visa application form with all the details.
4. Upload the scanned copies of the documents.
5. Submit the application.

• A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country.
• A photograph meeting the specifications. 
• Confirmed flight tickets.
• Proof of sufficient funds such as bank statements.
• Invitation approved by the Inspectorate General of Immigration in Romania.
• An invitation letter from the Romanian company, to attend the meeting, fairs, conference, etc.
• Travel medical insurance.

• 80% face coverage

• Glasses: Thin framed and prescription glasses only
• Headgears - only for religious reasons
• Facial hair - permitted

The time taken to process the Romanian business visa application is around 15 working days after you submit it at the embassy. However, it can vary significantly based on several factors including the number of entries, the volume of applications at the embassy, your previous travel history and so on. It can also take quite some time for getting the invitation approved. As a result, ensure that you apply well in advance.
