There are different kinds of visas for different purposes. A Belarus business visa is a permit provided to the entrepreneur who is willing to carry out a business errand in the country. It can be categorized as a C type visa or even a D type visa based on the validity it has to offer. A Belarus business visa can be issued for various reasons, which include attending business conferences, meetings with the employees or the clients, expand your business or open a new branch in the country. You need to obtain a Belarus visa stamp on your passport, for which you need to follow an offline procedure. The Embassy of Belarus is responsible for the processing of the documents. The step by step procedure for the business visa application is given as follows:

1. Print the visa application form from the official Belarus embassy website.
2. Fill out the form properly with all the correct details.
3. Attach one photograph to the visa application form.
4. Proof of accommodation - hotel bookings, invitation letter, etc.
5. Attach copy of health insurance certificate
6. Submit the form to the embassy personally along with all the supporting documents.

When the documents have been submitted, the Embassy will then process the documents and the passport will be provided with the visa stamp for Belarus. The passport will be mailed back to you on your registered address.

• 1 passport size photo (35x45mm) with 70% to 80% face coverage and white matt finish background.

The time required for the processing of documents and the visa depends upon several factors. These include the type of visa, the number of entries, the workload at the embassy, and others. The business visa to Belarus is generally processed within the next 5 business days. The time span may increase or decrease depending upon the factors previously mentioned. Although, if you require the visa soon on an urgent notice, you can get it done in 48 hours upon paying the extra fee.

• Before travel

• Upon receiving the passport, check for the visa stamp that has been applied on it.
• If you have changed your mind or have different plans after the issuance of the visa, you cannot extend it at the embassy. You may have to reapply for a different visa.
• To extend your period of stay in the Republic of Belarus, you can apply to the local office of Citizenship and Migration Department and get the visa extended or get an exit visa.

• At the Border

• Once you arrive, you need to register at the local Citizenship and Migration office within 5 days.
• The local police will then issue a registration stamp by the Ministry of Interior of Belarus attached to your (visitor’s) passport.
• If you are accommodated in the hotel, the reception bureau will arrange the process for you.

• When you enter Bahrain

• Ensure not to get involved in any kind of employment. You can, however, do volunteer work.
• The business visa does not permit you to employ the residents or reside in the country.
• It is a permit that allows you to only perform business and business-related operations in the country. You are still permitted tourism.
• The tourist prohibited areas must be stayed out of.
