Important Information for National Visa applicants:
German Embassy, New Delhi has gradually restarted accepting National visa applications.
Master Students – Visa application center, New Delhi will re-start accepting the applications from 19th July 2021. Customers who had appointments between 1st June and 16th July will be contacted by the Visa application center for an appointment. All other prior appointments stand canceled.
Bachelor Students (more than 90% in 12th grade) and Test AS (100 points or more) - Visa application center, New Delhi has re-started accepting the applications from 5th July 2021.
Customers who had appointments between 1st June and 2nd July will be contacted by the Visa application center for an appointment. All other prior appointments stand canceled. The Embassy will be accepting applications for student visas for the winter semester only (beginning September 2021).
Scholarship Holders, PostDoc, Guest Scientists - Visa application center, New Delhi will re-start accepting the applications from 15th July 2021. All other prior appointments stand canceled. All the customers are requested to take new appointments through our website.

D-visa stamping – Visa application center, New Delhi has restarted accepting D-visa stamping cases (for all the categories).
Kindly note that the Visa application center, New Delhi is operational only on Mondays and Thursdays and your application (irrespective of visa category) will be accepted with prior appointment only. Kindly ensure that your documents are complete on the date of your appointment.
